Hey Everyone! I'm back and today I am sharing with you my May inspiration for A Perfect Time To Craft. If you would like to join in with our challenge then head on over to - https://aperfecttimetocraft.blogspot.com/. We have some great prizes up for grabs again this month! This month we where lucky enough to have two sponsors - https://fred-she-said-store.blogspot.com/ and https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheArtsystamperShop. I decided to choose this lovely Emma the mermaid and friends digital stamp set from Fred She Said. Here's the link just in case you want the set for yourselves - http://fred-she-said-store.blogspot.com/.
This month I decided to use a 8x8 inch square card blank. First I used my corner punch to round the corners. The next thing I did was download the digital stamp set and sized them all on to a word document. I printed off 2 of each seaweed, 2 of each seashells, 2 star fish, 1 crab, 2 of the striped fish, 2 of the plain fish, 2 seahorses, 1 fish holding balloons and a mermaid. Once printed I used my pencils to colour them all in. I then cut around them all using my scissors.
I set them all to one side and found this lovely blue with hints of white backing paper in my stash and decided it would work perfectly for under the sea. I covered my card base with double sided tape and secured it to the back of my backing paper. Then I cut the excess off from around the card. Next I arranged all my cut out pieces on to my card until I was happy with how it looked. I then used double sided tape to secure them all on to my card base. To finish my card off I found some small silver gems in my stash and randomly placed them on to my card until I was happy with how it looked. That's it! Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for looking!
