Golfer Gus

Hey Everyone! I'm back and today I'm sharing with you my first inspiration for Creative Fingers this month. This fortnight we where sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. Here's the link -https://bugaboostamps.com. Check them out they have some great stamps and even a few that will make you laugh! I was lucky enough to get to choose one of the stamps this fortnight and I just couldn't resist this great Gus Golf digital stamp. It made me chuckle. Here's the link just in case you want one for yourselves - https://bugaboostamps.com

I really enjoyed making my first twisted easel card last week so I decided to make another. I followed this tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/. I found it easy and simple to follow. I just changed the measurements to make my card the size I wanted it.

I started by sizing and printing off my Gus digital stamp. I used my new pencils for the first time to colour it in. I wasn't sure what they would be like when I ordered them but I am totally in love with them! The best pencils I have ever owned. Here's the link if anyone would like to check them out - https://www.ebay.co.uk/.

Next I cut my digital stamp in to a rectangular shape measuring 12.5cms by 13.5cms. I then cut out out a piece of orange card measuring 13cms by 14cms and a piece of green card measuring 13.5cms by 14.5cms. I used double sided tape to secure the orange card to the green card and the digital stamp on to the orange card. That's the square front of my card done.

Next I took a piece of green card for my twisted easel bottom. I measured mine at 13.5cms by 27cms. I cut it out with my guillotine. Using my score board I scored it where it says in the video and folded it. Then I cut out a piece of orange card measuring 13cms squared and stuck it to the base of my card. I decided this diamond pattern backing paper matched perfectly with Gus's jumper so I cut out a piece measuring 12.5cms squared. Using more double sided tape I secured it to my orange card.

Taking my glue I stuck the triangle of my base on to the back of my square front. I decided this card would make the perfect Father's Day card for my Grancha so I print out ' Happy Father's Day Grancha' for a sentiment. Then I matted it using more orange and green card. Lastly I used double sided pads to secure my sentiment on to the base of my card. That's it! I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for looking!
